Radio Flyer " My Favorite Movie "

Radio Flyer is a 1992 drama-fantasy film from Columbia Pictures. It is a Stonebridge Entertainment Production in association with Donner/Shuler-Donner Productions (now known as simply The Donners' Company).
The film, directed by Richard Donner and, as uncredited, David Mickey Evans, is executive produced by David Mickey Evans and Michael Douglas; and stars Elijah Wood, Joseph Mazzello, Tom Hanks, Lorraine Bracco, Adam Baldwin, and Ben Johnson.
Filming locations included Novato, California, and Columbia Airport, California.
Plot
Novato, California: Two young brothers (Mikey and Bobby) escape their chaotic family life with dreams of flying. Inspired by a local legend about a 14-year-old bicyclist named Fisher, they attempt to build a working airplane, and in the process of transforming their ordinary red wagon into a fantastic flying machine, transform their own lives into an extraordinary adventure. The boys' abusive stepfather, nicknamed "The King," always beats younger brother Bobby when he is drunk, causing Mikey to care for Bobby a lot more. Their mother Mary has no idea about this abuse.
At one point in the film, Bobby fits wings and a lawnmower engine to a Radio Flyer wagon, enabling him to fly away from home. There has been speculation that this fantastical journey was intended as a metaphor for suicide, but this has been repeatedly denied by Donner.
